Assist the Team Leader to ensure the overall technical and administrative management of the Programme.
Assist in the technical formulation of Terms of Reference (ToR)/Technical Specifications for call for proposals and call for tenders specifically related to irrigation systems and agricultural practices.
Assist and support the management of Field Support Units (FSUs) of the Programme in coordination with the PMU.
Assist the Team Leader to ensure the timely preparation of all technical and financial information and1 Provisional date.
Assist the Team Leader to formulate in a timely manner narrative, financial reports, and all other technical documents of the Programme.
Support to implement, monitor and assess on the progress of Action contracts (even in the intervention areas) based on the Organisation regulations.
Assist and support in facilitating external evaluation (e.g.: mid-term and final review) and audit missions (internal and external).
Support the implementation of the Communication and Visibility plan.
Promote the communication and information activities according to EU s guidelines and all the events related to the Programme.
Carrying out any other duties and activities requested by the Team Leader of the Programme and according to the needs of the PMU.
Requirements
-University degree in Agriculture, Hydraulic Engineering
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience working in the field of infrastructures for agriculture, rural development, food security, irrigation in the framework of development programmes.
- Solid experience in food security, Good Agriculture Practices (GAPs), irrigation systems and
infrastructures.
- Previous experience in effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, government,
donors, and implementing partners.
- Proficient in using computers including Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheet, email (outlook) and
internet.
