Product Owner

Job Description

• Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.
• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
• Collaborate with the UX team to ensure UX design aligns completely with documented business requirements
• Own and develop product SRS document, traceability matrix and change log.
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
• Prepare and own the Business UAT.
• Solicit customer feedback, report software bugs, and pass these on back to engineering for subsequent build / release cycles, as the product stabilizes, and then matures.
• Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
• Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
• Preparing documentation (Product Guide, Technical description, Feature List …etc.)
• Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
• Planning the training of the Operational teams and supporting functions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 3-5 years of experience as a Software Product Owner / Systems Analyst
• Experience preparing and/or executing business and technical requirements and specifications.
• Highly proficient technical writing capabilities
• This position requires excellent communication, organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team is vital.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
• Proven ability to respond to different organizational situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is necessary.
• In addition, organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
