- Provide configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, and IP Telephone devices and to use utilize network tools to provide support to the Operations Section, keeping in line with MAF Retail’s objectives
- Oversee the troubleshooting network problems and outages, schedule upgrades, collaborate with network architects on network optimization
- Supervise the maintenance of the internet network in MAF Retail offices
- Develop standard forms and procedures to be used by internal team and department, further gain approval from the supervisor in order to aid the process of network support to the entire organisation
- Manage and upgrade the network systems and identify and deploy appropriate network device software upgrades
- Supervise routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet
- Oversee configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network, host, and appliance network systems
- Review existing support information for existing network infrastructure and maintain a record of maintenance activity.
