- Supervision of Subordinates: Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the assigned project activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
- Budgets and Plans Contribute to the preparation of the projects budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the project management is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.
- Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Consultant, Contractor, Subcontractor Selection: Assist the search, initiation of contact and short-listing process of technical consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other vendors to gain a deeper understanding of their delivery capabilities.
- Safety, Quality & Environment: Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined project activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
- MIS and Reports: Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports of Employer timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
