Our client is looking to recruit an outstanding teacher within the Autism and SEN niche. Successful applicant will work on a supply basis full time with a class of 9 Key Stage 1 learners.
The Key Stage 1 learners will be on a specific pathways where they have more specific learning for English and Maths activities, along with some accelerated learners in other curriculum areas.
Requirements
Qualified teacher status
Special Needs Trained or had extensive experience.
Preferably has experience of teaching strategy teach PECS and Intensive Interaction.
Able to manage and utilise 3-4 TA in class.

Proven SEN SLD MLD and Autism teaching experience. Excellent computer skills (MS Office in particular). Hands-on experience with any GCSE teaching curriculum. Experience with reporting and student data analysis. Organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude. PGCE or B Ed Hons, SEN or any other relevant field.
