Junior Architect

We are on a steep growth curve, and we are looking for a Junior Architect to join our team.

Tasks

• Support the Design Team with ongoing projects
• Work on both new developments and refurbishment projects
• Participate in the process of planning, testing, optimizing, and designing new properties, while implementing our architectural standards and design direction
• Support in all operational matters that arise during the various phases of these processes including both interior and architectural design
• Support in designing detailed plans, templates, layouts, including color schemes, zoning and area calculation of the floor plan following our optimization standards
• Support in creating design concept and strategy, interior solutions, including specific FF&E and OS&E proposals and solutions, presentation of the material, mood board creation, furniture layout, order list containing the chosen items, marked up plans, electrical layouts, kitchen planning and similar duties
• Support in creation of operational documentation, and technical drawings that serve as means of internal and external communication, implementing our interior and architectural design standards
• Support in setting up environment for optimizing the operational flows as implementing processes and standardizing drawings in BIM and CAD technology tools

Requirements

• You have a Master Degree in Architecture or alternatively in Interior Design
• You have strong 2D and 3D skills and feel comfortable working with the following programs: AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Vray, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Good knowledge of Adobe Professional and Excel, Google Sheets, Docs and Slides
• You have general knowledge of City Codes of the DACH region, IT, NL, PT, FR and ES, other countries are always a plus
• You have skills and interest in the above mentioned architectural and interior design operations
• You have experience and interest in both new developments and refurbishment projects
• You are very detail oriented and organized when it comes to both technical work and presentation
• You are a great team player but can work individually as well
• You have a passion for real estate, shared living, and the Habyt mission
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Good German language command is an advantage
