Italian Speaking Account Receivable Representative

Currently we are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our finance team as an ItalianSpeaking Accounts Receivable Representative in our office located in the vibrant city of Lisbon.

Job Summary:As an ItalianSpeaking Accounts Receivable Representative you will play a pivotal role in managing our accounts receivable process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. You will be responsible for invoicing customers reconciling accounts and addressing inquiries and issues related to billing and payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in Italian exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of success in accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due balances
• Communicate with customers in Italian to address inquiries resolve disputes and facilitate timely payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or issues as needed
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales and customer service teams to resolve billingrelated issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Process payments received from customers and apply them to the appropriate accounts
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on accounts receivable aging and collection activities
• Assist with monthend closing activities and provide support for audits as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounts receivable function

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Italian is required both written and verbal
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
