IT Specialist

Role and Responsibilities

• Investigating and diagnosing any hardware, network, servers, and security systems problems.
• Collection of IT usage statistics.
• Configuration and installation of IT solutions.
• Setting up new users and management of security, passwords and backup.
• Assisting co-workers with everyday IT needs.
• Providing recommendations when it comes to improving the organization's IT systems.

• Problem Solving: Must be effective in technical problem resolution; Have the ability to identify the source of some IT-related issues and fix it.
• Technical Knowledge: Must have a basic working knowledge of all activities / tasks carried out within area of responsibility
• People management: Ability to earn trust and respect from project's stakeholders; ability to influence decisions that need to be made to make the project successful.
• Organized and detail oriented: The ability to be organized with files and handling incoming and outgoing communication.
