Growing Chicago firm is looking to add a Transportation Design Engineer to the team!

Responsibilities:

• Develop construction documents, calculations, exhibits, reports, and other documents required during Phase I/II projects
  
• Develop/review cost estimates/quantity calculations
  
• Create/supervise plans/specifications for transportation projects
  
• Develop earthwork cross sections for Phase I/II projects
  
• Develop Corridor/3D Terrain Models
  
• Coordinate team tasks
  
• Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget
  
• Clients include IDOT, ISTHA, CDOT and County DOTH and other transportation agencies
  

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering
  
• 5+ years of experience
  
• EIT License required
  
• PE License or ability to obtain within one year of date of hire preferred
  
• Proficient in Digital deliverables preferred
  
• Extensive working knowledge of OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Power GEOPAK, ProjectWise, and other related software
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
