As we continue to grow we are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and help maintain the high standards that our guests have come to expect.
Job Overview:
As the Housekeeping Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. You will ensure that our guest rooms and public areas are clean wellmaintained and in accordance with company standards. You will also supervise a team of housekeeping staff providing them with guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department including the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms public areas and backofhouse areas
Train supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure highquality service and adherence to company standards
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
Coordinate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to ensure timely and efficient service for guest requests and room turnovers
Maintain inventory and order supplies for the housekeeping department ensuring budget and cost control measures are followed
Monitor and report on the performance of housekeeping staff providing feedback and addressing any performance issues in a timely manner
Promote a positive and collaborative work environment fostering teamwork and open communication among housekeeping staff and other departments
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor or similar role in a hotel or resort setting
Strong communication leadership and organizational skills
Familiarity with housekeeping equipment and cleaning procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
