FullStack Developer

We are hiring a full-stack developer who will be primarily responsible for the development of production level software in coordination with your team. You will work very closely with Product Owners, QA, and your Head of Engineering.

Responsibilities

Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable and efficient code

Develop and support software including applications, 3rd party integrations, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements

Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards

Support of the development of our internal platforms

Work on a long-term features plan to ensure continuous improvement of user experience as well as operations efficiency

Determine time estimates to complete tasks.

Participates in the technical design of features with guidance.

Establishes a culture of engineering excellence

Take the initiative to fix issues before assigned them. Seeks empirical evidence through proofs of concepts, tests and external research.

Ability to become self-sufficient in at least one large area of the codebase with a high-level understanding of other components

Support test and deployment of new products and features Participate in code reviews

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field)

High Proficiency coding experience and well-documented, clean Java & JavaScript code

3+ years of experience in Java & Javascript development

Expertise in GraphQL, the document request model, and offline storage

Expertise in REST APIs

Experience in ReactJS

Experience in AWS and MongoDB

Familiarity with microservices architecture

Familiarity with event-driven architecture

Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
