Responsibilities:
- Be part of a team that's building a highly scalable, high quality, and low latency web platform at Reddit's scale.
- Partner and collaborate with partner teams to deliver high quality UI components
- Tackle tough design and product problems.
- Work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering to deliver great user experiences.
- Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You'll be
- reviewing code and design docs, and giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
Who You Might Be
- 4+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer developing production code
- Experience with React and Python
- Exposure to design patterns of large, high-scale web applications, such as well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, and efficient
- algorithms
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, innovative, biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
- Able to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to tackle ambiguous and undefined problems.
