Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Health and Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Requirements
Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and manage health and safety programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to reduce or eliminate hazards in the workplace.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of project planning and execution.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential areas of improvement.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
- Develop and deliver training programs on safety procedures and protocols for employees.
- Stay informed about changes in health and safety legislation and ensure the organization's policies and procedures are up to date.
- Collaborate with external agencies and authorities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health and safety engineering.
- A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian health and safety regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
