Electronics Buyer

Job Description

• Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders
• Deliver a weekly purchase order report to management
• Work with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products
• Maintain proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis
• Ensure that all purchase orders are accurate.
• Work according to the purchasing budget.
• Negotiate the prices and issue contract agreement

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field required
• Excellent English skills
• Advance understanding of electronics components
• Strong negotiating skills
• Excellent user of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order software platforms like CMS (Epicor)
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work well with a team
• Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in issuing contracts & PO's
• Awareness with the Freight conditions and impact on prices.
