Direct Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

• Designs and maintains a long-term Procurement direct Category strategy for country aligned to Grifols Egypt’s overall business strategy

• Networks externally to ensure remains abreast of current world class thinking

• Optimizes key relationships across Grifols Egypt to take full advantage of efficiencies and leverage best practice

• Influences and shapes direct Category strategies, tactics and plans developed in conjunction with the global procurement team

• Research select and purchase quality products, services and materials. Seeks out high-quality products and services that will help the company operate smoothly and reach its goals

• Uses a keen understanding of the industry to know which supplies are most important and where to look for reliable, reasonably priced suppliers

• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best quality and pricing.

• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders and contracts.

• Prepares reports and communicates with management about offered prices on products to obtain final approval for purchases

• Performs comparison shopping and negotiations to secure lower prices on materials the company needs. Constantly looks for ways to cut back on the company's expenses

• Arrange deliver of goods and services and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
