- Assist members on the Gym Floor by being responsive to their needs in regards to instruction, information and assistance, being alert and cheerful at all times
- To be acknowledgeable in all aspects of the club operations and be able to provide information i.e. gold’s gym club rules and regulations, class timetables, promotions and club event.
- Educate and enforce Gold's Gym etiquette and regulations as designated in club rules and regulations, which includes, member awareness of Gym’s services and allocated working times, and any extra information relating to special events and special class timetables cancellations and changes.
- Support all club events and actively promote Gold's Gym services thus ensuring that members will maximize their gym membership
- Have a thorough understanding of the Gold's Gym Complaint Management System in the event of grievances or complaints
- On-floor coverage at all times as part of your responsibility is error identifying and correcting methods.
- Maintain relevant communication channels with members in order to accommodate feedback/criticism and ensure members feel welcome and valued
- Use members’ names when interacting with them – politely introduce yourself with members you do not know
- Ensure the Gym Floor is Occupational and Health and Safety compliant by identifying and eliminating potential risks and hazards, reporting faults and hazardous situations to the relevant personnel and effectively communicating these to members and club employees
- Ensuring the club is offering top services beginning with the first customer of the day until the last member leaves the gym.
