Well-established company in Deerfield Beach, FL is looking to identify a Controller who can eventually take over the CFO role within the next

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
  
• Compile, prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting reports
  
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  
• Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process
  
• Supervise the accounting department and oversee the payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  
• Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
  
• Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
  
• 7+ years of direct full-cycle accounting experience
  
• Construction or site development industry experience
