Applicants ages 18 & under apply to access support services, work experience, and training. Training positions vary with various employers, on & off reservation, and wages vary, depending on current skills and needs. Positions available as requested by employer or applicant throughout the year. Work experience, training & support services provided as needed to meet applicant goals to enter/re-enter employment, enter into higher education or the military. Must complete an intake, complete a background check & drive record check if job requires driving a company vehicle, and a drug test.
Requirements
Must be Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian, reside within boundaries of Jefferson, Crook, Wasco, or Deschutes County and CTWS Reservation.
Males ages 18 & over must be registered with Selective Service.
Weekend work possible in some positions.
Positions may be hired by employer if the applicant successfully completes training.
Positions may be entered into if on school break or will be entering/returning to school/college or the military.
