Backbone & Optical Network Team Member

▪ Commissioning deliverables after installation/ upgrade activities, through checking and inspecting equipment, devices, links, and all other network components in line with Zain’s policies and procedures; ensuring systems are running as planned, while reporting and contributing to applying needed modification.

▪ Contributing to configuration activities covering Optical Network’s equipment and devices to enhance network performance and minimize service degradation and outages.

▪ Supporting installation activities, carrying-out configuration and activations of solutions related to fiber technologies.

▪ Monitoring optical network traffic, handling traffic migration and traffic backhauling in an effective, and accurate manner; ensuring services are up and healthy after the activity is done, in addition to documenting and reporting related activities.

▪ Tracking and controlling progress of vendors/subcontractors, while providing assistant for them if needed, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
