Our client a leading retailer in the tile and home improvement industry is seeking a Sales Representative to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging customers providing expert product recommendations and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sales customer satisfaction and working in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Assist customers in selecting the best products to meet their needs.
• Drive sales growth through proactive customer engagement and upselling.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Accurately process customer transactions and provide after-sales support.

Operations & Inventory Management

• Monitor product categories ensuring accurate stock counts and well-organized displays.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure compliance with stock control procedures.
• Maintain a well-presented store environment that enhances the customer experience.

Team Collaboration & Sales Targets

• Work closely with team members to meet and exceed store sales targets.
• Participate in regular sales training and product knowledge sessions.
• Support promotional activities and marketing campaigns to boost sales.

Qualifications & Skills

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Fluency in both English and Swahili is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in sales customer service or retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• High attention to detail problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Must be a team player with a results-driven mindset.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
