About the School


Maple Bloom has a distinguished 13-year history founded by a highly experienced UK educator who previously led one of Solihulls top-rated pre-schools. Building on this strong reputation for quality education and parental trust Maple Bloom opened its first pre-school in Tanzania in 2020.

Located in the sought-after Masaki district of Dar es Salaam Maple Bloom Elementary is a purpose-built campus offering a British-style education within a nurturing and child-centred environment. As a Pearson Edexcel approved centre the school delivers the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC) providing children with an outstanding foundation for lifelong learning.

Small class sizes and well-resourced learning environments are central to the schools approach. Each class benefits from the support of experienced Teaching Assistants enabling highly personalised learning and excellent early years provision.

Due to the exciting opening of a new campus the school is now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver play-based child-led learning aligned with the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) nurturing curiosity confidence and creativity
  • Create a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel valued and supported
  • Support each childs individual development through observation assessment and differentiated learning approaches
  • Work closely with a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide engaging and personalised learning experiences
  • Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication updates and reporting
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school including events outdoor learning initiatives and community activities


Requirements

  • Early Years or Primary teaching qualification (PGCE QTS EYTS or equivalent)
  • Minimum of two years relevant Early Years classroom experience
    Native or fluent English speaker
  • Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning approaches
  • Experience with IEYC or similar international early years frameworks is advantageous
