ملخص الوظيفة
Job Title: Laboratory Technician (STP)
Location: Dukhan Fields Qatar
Duration: 12 Months
Duty Hours: 9 Hours per Day
Salary & Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: TBD

- Transportation: Provided by Client
Educational Qualification:
Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in sewage / wastewater treatment plant (STP/WWTP) laboratory
Job Purpose:
To carry out laboratory testing and analysis of sewage and wastewater samples ensuring compliance with environmental standards and supporting plant operations through accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sampling of influent effluent and sludge
- Handle sample preservation preparation and reagent management
- Conduct laboratory testing as per APHA & USEPA methods
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals
- Maintain accurate records of test results
- Prepare daily laboratory reports
- Compile and submit monthly analysis reports
- Follow all HSE and safety procedures within the laboratory
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of wastewater laboratory analysis
- Familiarity with APHA and USEPA standards
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (pH meter BOD incubator spectrophotometer etc.)
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong awareness of laboratory safety practices
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in STP/WWTP or industrial wastewater facilities
- Ability to work independently under site conditions
- Good communication skills
