ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking a Signal Man who will be responsible for directing and guiding crane vehicle and lifting operations using approved hand signals or communication devices to ensure safe and efficient movement of loads and equipment.
- Guide crane operators and vehicle drivers using standard hand signals or radio communication
- Ensure lifting and moving operations are carried out safely and as per lifting plans
- Check lifting areas for hazards and maintain clear exclusion zones
- Coordinate with riggers crane operators and supervisors during operations
- Verify load stability slinging arrangements and lifting accessories before lifting
- Stop operations immediately if unsafe conditions are observed
- Assist in positioning loads accurately and safely
- Follow all HSE rules permits and site procedures
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Report unsafe acts near misses and incidents
Requirements
- High school certificate or equivalent
- Valid Signalman / Banksman certification (mandatory)
- 25 years experience in lifting crane or heavy equipment operations
- Experience in construction port yard or offshore environment preferred
- Good understanding of lifting equipment and safety procedures
