ملخص الوظيفة
Job Title: Mechanical Rotating Technician
Location: Qatar
Salary: TBD
Job Purpose:
To carry out installation inspection troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating mechanical equipment to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations particularly in district cooling or industrial environments.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience
- Experience in district cooling plants or industrial facilities is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of rotating equipment
- Maintain and service pumps cooling towers compressors and AHU fans
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to rotating machinery such as bearings shafts and couplings
- Carry out alignment lubrication and condition monitoring activities
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS systems
- Assist in equipment installation commissioning and testing
- Identify faults recommend corrective actions and minimize downtime
- Follow maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures
Certifications & Skills:
- Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Strong understanding of HSSEQ requirements including:
- Permit to Work (PTW)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Risk Assessments
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Key Competencies:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with good communication skills
