Job Title: Senior SAP HCM Expert

Location: Doha Qatar

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary

The Senior SAP HCM Expert is responsible for supporting HR planning and operations through effective management of SAP HCM systems. This role ensures accurate payroll execution organizational structure management and HR data governance while delivering training and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP HCM System & Organizational Management

  • Configure and customize SAP HCM modules including Personnel Administration (PA) Organizational Management (OM) Time Management Payroll and Talent Management.
  • Manage and update organizational structures (departments job titles locations).
  • Ensure system updates align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external support teams to resolve system discrepancies.

2. HR Operations Management

  • Support and execute end-to-end recruitment processes within SAP.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to separation).
  • Handle performance evaluations promotions and approval workflows.
  • Train HR staff on SAP functionalities and operational processes.
  • Enable employee self-service features such as HR certificate generation.

3. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Execute full monthly payroll processing in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Validate salary data allowances and deductions for accuracy.
  • Manage bank transfer files and legal deductions (court orders etc.).
  • Prepare payroll-related financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Train payroll personnel to independently manage payroll operations.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer employee entitlements including bonuses and allowances.
  • Process periodic salary adjustments and promotions.
  • Handle end-of-service settlements and financial documentation.
  • Coordinate with legal teams for financial disputes and claims if required.

5. Time & Attendance Management

  • Manage attendance leave and absence records.
  • Ensure integration between SAP and biometric/attendance systems.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for system accuracy and updates.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate and maintain HR reports to support decision-making.
  • Improve reporting accuracy and reduce manual processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities.

7. Technical Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide end-user support for SAP-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Conduct system testing after updates and changes.
  • Support user access and onboarding to SAP systems.

8. Compliance & System Updates

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement system updates reflecting policy or legal changes.
  • Maintain accurate records aligned with government regulations.

9. Training & Capacity Building

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for HR teams.
  • Develop user manuals and training materials (including video tutorials).
  • Support continuous learning and system adoption among HR staff.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience

  • 10–12 years of experience in SAP systems (preferably SAP HCM).
  • Strong expertise in payroll processing and HR operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP HCM modules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and labor regulations
