We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect Engineer to join our dynamic team in Doha Qatar. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the design and execution of various architectural projects. Responsibilities
* Lead the architectural design process from initial concept and schematic design to detailed construction drawings and specifications.
* Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers MEP engineers and project managers to ensure a cohesive and integrated project delivery.
* Prepare and present high-quality design proposals technical reports and presentations to clients and key stakeholders.
* Ensure all designs comply with local building codes regulations and international standards particularly those applicable in Qatar.
* Oversee the creation of detailed architectural drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD Revit and other industry-standard tools.
* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress ensuring strict adherence to design intent and quality standards.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
* Manage project timelines and resources to ensure milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
* Resolve complex design and technical challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* A Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
* Significant proven experience working as a Senior Architect or in a similar leadership capacity preferably with experience in the Gulf region.
* A strong portfolio of completed projects that demonstrates exceptional design skills and technical proficiency.
* Expert proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
* In-depth knowledge of construction principles materials and methods.
* Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A thorough understanding of Qatari building regulations and approval processes is highly desirable.
