About the Role:
This role is about supporting the CFO on finance related tasks by managing external and internal financial reporting activities for the business including statutory reporting to ensure the business is compliant with relevant law regulation and/or listing requirements through the finance control team. He will be responsible for the managing the gathering validating aggregating analyzing and reporting financial information and ensuring that the reports are accurate and produced on time to the required internal and/or external standards. He will add value through his ability to support the CFO to drive operational effectiveness process efficiency and consistent high standards of data accuracy against unyielding deadlines. He will be responsible for External Audit and finance related internal audits etc.

Key Responsibilities:
- Quarterly interim and annual accounts for Statutory Report and Accounts and/or inclusion in consolidated form for regional or listed entity reports in line with Company or external legal/regulatory requirements and accounting standard.
- Managing and ensuring the consistency reliability and efficiency of information collection validation and aggregation processes across multiple internal and/or external sources
- Assisting in implementing and maintaining the Financial Control Framework delegation of authority framework and all other finance policies.
- Coordinating and assisting during external and internal audits and helping in implementing and maintaining process improvements as highlighted by Audits.
- Prepare the asset liability profile of the company.
- Liaise with the Companys finance operations team and tax consultants on all tax related matters and ensure accuracy of tax reporting and provisioning.
- Assisting in developing or recommending actions to raise standards and improve operational effectiveness and consistency through process technology and/or people capability development of the financial control team.
- Ensure bank and balance sheet reconciliation are performed in timely manner and reconciling items are resolved in line with the companys policies and procedures.
- Maintain financial control framework that ensures accuracy of financial reporting
- Quality of contribution to overall finance plan and development of desired culture within the financial control team.
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports.
- Early warning of actual or potential financial controls or reporting issues and implementing effective corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance with Group Finance requirements and all relevant statutes and regulations concerning financial reports and returns (content format timing etc.)
- Outcomes of Internal and External Audits
- Timely and accurate production of finance data and reports including:
- Financial report to regulators SAMA and CMA filing and uploadsStatistical financial analysis
- Ad-hoc financial analyses and reportsAny other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Optimisation of corporate tax and compliance with tax regulations
- Level of co-operation and communication with colleague
- Compliance with planning and reporting cycles
- Completion of Finance projects to time cost and output requirements.
- Achievement of finance goals and targets as agreed with CFO
Qualification and Education
- Finance professional with 8 to 10 years of overall finance experience with 4-6 years at a financial controller role or a senior finance role.
- Demonstrated technical competence in finance and accounting (i.e. accounting qualification such as SOCPA ACCA and CPA and accounting degree from a recognized university)
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting procedures and consistently achieve accurate on time delivery
- Understanding SAMA and CMA rules and regulations
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of:
- The financials of publically listed company and the reporting requirements
- International financial reporting standards and generally accepted accounting principleManagement information tools and techniques
- Understanding of and commitment to the principles of risk management controllership and compliance particularly as they relate to financial matters
- Proven track record in Investment Management
- Excellent skills in:
- Financial management
- MI management and reporting
- Process management and development
- Influencing others
- Communications (oral written presentation)
