This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in Lears growth and ongoing commitment to innovation. Position overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment operate safely reliably and efficiently. This role oversees all maintenance activities including preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs while leading a team of technicians. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in improving equipment reliability optimizing maintenance strategies and ensuring compliance with safety standards across industries such as manufacturing energy and healthcare.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine scheduled and preventive maintenance on machinery electrical systems and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime.
Maintenance Planning: Develop implement and continuously improve maintenance strategies procedures and protocols to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities repairs inspections and parts usage.
Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health safety and environmental regulations during all maintenance operations.
Leadership & Supervision: Lead coach and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure smooth operations and high performance.

Key skills and Qualifications:

Technical university degree.
Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and computer engineering principles.
Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and leadership skills for team coordination and reporting.
Strong commitment to safety standards and best practices.
Proficiency in English and French both spoken and written.
