Lear is embarking on an exciting new chapter with thelaunchof its second plant andfirst Greenfieldmanufacturing facility inBizerte Tunisia part ofour Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) division. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in Lears growth and ongoing commitment to innovation. We are seeking dynamic forward-thinking talents to take on the challenge of launching and shaping this new plant from the ground up. The Bizerte plant will be at the forefront of thermal comfort innovation producing advanced technologies that enhance vehicle performance sustainability and passenger comfort.

Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize our Production Maintenance and Launch departments. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of these functions to achieve operational excellence. he will be a proven leader with deep expertise in management principles financial budgeting and coaching high-performing teams. Hes is the driving force behind meeting production targets ensuring equipment reliability and successfully introducing new models into our manufacturing environment.

Main Missions :

Oversee and optimize production maintenance and launch operations.
Ensure smooth execution of new product launches using APQP/PPAP principles.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Kaizen and other operational excellence methodologies.
Monitor KPIs such as OEE throughput first-pass yield and equipment uptime.
Develop and manage departmental budgets monitor expenditures and allocate resources efficiently.
Lead mentor and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 ISO 14001 and health & safety regulations.
Collaborate with Engineering Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve production challenges and optimize processes.
Identify risks implement corrective actions and support problem-solving initiatives across departments.
Represent the company externally with customers suppliers and partners.

To be successful for this role :

University Degree
10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing including 5 years in senior management.
Strong expertise in production management maintenance and new product launches.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence methodologies.
Proven leadership team coaching and financial management skills.
Excellent problem-solving communication and analytical abilities

Language Skills:

Good communication skills in both French and English
