Job Description Summary
As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts within the organization with the support of the Senior Contracts Manager. This includes drafting evaluating negotiating and executing contracts and/or commercial agreements to ensure they meet legal requirements and align with company goals. The Contract Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to manage contractual obligations and mitigate risks. This role will report operationally to the Senior Contracts Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft review negotiate amend and administer contracts MoM MoU etc. and bring commercial knowledge to the cross-functional teams.
- Draft project communications notices and claims towards Customers and suppliers.
- Ensure all contracts and amendments comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents and communications.
- Manage R&O register and proactively update the register (including max/likely/min impacts) and risk mitigations on bi-weekly basis.
- Identify & track contractual timebound obligations i.e. Notices Monthly Reports Localization ensuring PMs and functions do not miss any contractual obligations.
- Liaise with Legal functions for any contractual complexities concurrence on draft amendments/agreements etc.
- Support on development of Extension of Time (EoT) claims guide scheduling team on best practices of such claims.
- Serve as deputy point of contact for contract-related inquiries claims management and disputes.
- Support PM team in steering consortium / JV partners channels.
- Prepare regular reports on contract status compliance and performance.
- Analyze contract data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in contract management in the energy sector or as a legal manager
- Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (including EHS) in Saudi Arabia
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects.
- Ability to manage complex and evolving DORs and commercial interfaces between Owner EPC and GEV.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions
Desired Characteristics
- Certification in contract management (e.g. Certified Professional Contract Manager CPCM) CIPS and FIDIC knowledge is valued.
- Knowledge of international laws and treaties such as the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
- Good understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
- Foundation of negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experienced in dispute resolution processes.
- Experience in the segment of industrial equipment and systems (oil & gas industry marine).
- Arabic speaker
