The Document Controller will be responsible for managing the intake handling and archiving of all technical and administrative documentation for our facility management projects. You will ensure that all project stakeholders have access to the most up-to-date information while maintaining a rigorous audit trail in compliance with ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
System Management: Maintain and update the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Quality Control: Review all incoming and outgoing documents (drawings O&M manuals reports and submittals) for accuracy and compliance with company formats.
Workflow Tracking: Manage the numbering filing sorting and retrieval of documents quickly and efficiently.
Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the FM team subcontractors and the client regarding document status.
Archiving: Ensure all "As-Built" drawings and hand-over documents are correctly indexed for the lifecycle of the facility.
Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly status reports on document progress overdue reviews and pending approvals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Document Control specifically within Facility Management in the GCC (Qatar experience preferred).
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel is a must) and experience with EDMS software (e.g. Aconex Newforma or Procore).
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
