- Develop implement and maintain project control systems and processes to ensure efficient project execution
- Create and manage detailed project schedules using advanced project management software
- Monitor project progress analyze variances and provide regular status reports to stakeholders
- Develop and track project budgets forecasts and cost estimates
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive risk management strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of project control specialists and planners
- Analyze project performance data and provide actionable insights to improve project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in Cairo and throughout Egypt
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management and clients
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls and planning in hotel projects
- Proven track record of managing hotel projects in Cairo or similar environments
- Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong knowledge of cost control budgeting and risk management techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to convey complex information clearly
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Additional certifications in project controls or planning (e.g. Planning & Scheduling Professional) are a plus
- In-depth understanding of construction and engineering processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Cairo Egypt
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
