We are currently seeking a dynamicR&D Team Leader with Backend and Big Data orientationto contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
As an R&D Team Leader you will:
Lead & Develop: Manage a team of senior backend engineers focused on performance Big Data and complex infrastructure. Mentor team members and recruit new talent.
Own the Architecture: Oversee design development and maintenance of our Big Data infrastructure. Conduct design and code reviews while maintaining a 30% hands-on technical role.
Drive Innovation: Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies into our stack. Stay current with industry trends and best practices.Research and introduce new technologies to the existing stack.
Enable Success: Lead cross-functional collaboration remove blockers and ensure seamless integration across the organization.Lead collaboration and integration with other teams and groups across our organization removing blockers and getting things done.
We Are Looking For:
10 years software development experience with focus on backend scalable web applications performance and databases.
4 years as a Team Leader or technical manager.
6 years professional experience in Java/Go (both is a major plus) or equivalent general-purpose languages (e.g. C# Kotlin Scala Rust).
4 years with Big Data technologies: Spark/Elasticsearch/Kafka Streams or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis BigTable) databasesdata modeling optimization and scaling. Elasticsearch expertise is a plus.
Proven experience identifying and resolving production performance bottlenecks in high-traffic systems.
Deep understanding of distributed systems microservices architecture Kubernetes cloud infrastructure and building performance-heavy applications at scale. On-Premise experience is a plus.
