Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Structural Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to oversee and ensure the quality of structural works in compliance with project specifications approved drawings and applicable codes and standards. The role involves inspections coordination with site teams and maintaining quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and monitor structural works including concrete steel structures formwork reinforcement and structural finishes.
Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings method statements ITPs and project specifications.
Conduct inspections for rebar fixing formwork installation concrete pouring curing and structural steel erection.
Coordinate and witness material inspections sampling and testing (concrete steel bolts etc.).
Review and verify material submittals mill certificates test reports and method statements.
Identify raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintain accurate QA/QC records inspection reports and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with consultants clients and third-party inspectors during inspections and audits.
Ensure compliance with QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications) project quality plans and international standards.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Promote adherence to QHSE standards at site.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
3–6 years of experience as a QC Structural Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of QCS ASTM BS ACI AISC and ISO standards.
Experience with concrete works structural steel and reinforcement inspection.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings bar bending schedules (BBS) and specifications.
Familiar with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Preferred
Experience working on projects in Qatar.
Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa.
Immediate or short notice availability.
