Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Technical Support
Provide technical leadership in design modification and optimization of oil & gas facilities.
Review and approve engineering drawings specifications and calculations.
Conduct feasibility studies technical evaluations and root cause analysis.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet project and operational requirements.
2. Project Execution
Support project planning scheduling and cost estimation.
Monitor project progress to ensure completion within scope time and budget.
Coordinate with contractors vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in FAT SAT commissioning and handover processes.
3. Operations & Maintenance Support
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend solutions.
Improve asset reliability and performance.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
4. HSE & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis (HAZOP HAZID etc.).
Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API ASME ISO IEC etc.).
Participate in audits and safety reviews.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare technical reports procedures and engineering documentation.
Maintain accurate project and operational records.
Provide regular performance updates to management.
6. Mentorship & Team Support
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Provide technical training and guidance.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Petroleum Chemical Instrumentation or relevant discipline).
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards.
Experience in upstream midstream or downstream operations.
Professional certification (PE PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
