To ensure efficient operation and maintenance in the shift of all the mechanical / electrical / electronics/ civil works in the property & smooth day to day operations of engineering department in order to achieve on excellent level of customer satisfaction & profitability in an environment of high employee morale.
What will I be doing
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Ensure that all Engineering standards polices and guidelines are followed.
Systems / Operations
Responsible for duty schedule of shift staff Job allocation to achieve high employee productivity in the department.
Ensure that Guests and inter department requests or complaints are attended to promptly & efficiently.
Monitor HLP consumption on a daily basis & control the wasteful energy during the respective shifts.
Ensure that employees in the department perform as per organizational standards.
- Responsible for maintenance of all equipments / systems as per required standards
- Effective implementation of PM schedules & records to be maintained.
- Effective use of existing resources and curtail wasteful R&M expenses on a regular basis
- Optimize savings on energy expenses by implementing energy conservation programs.
- Ensure that area of operation meets high class service standards to the Guests and other department.
- Ensure proper and immediate response in case of fire / smoke or any interruption of services in your shift.
- Establish and ensures adherence to key systems and procedures in engineering area.
- Recommend changes in system and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service.
- Ensure timely receiving of material & spares by regular follow up with purchase department.
Staff / Training - Encourage development of multifunctionality among the subordinates.
- Use appraisal system to review the performance of direct subordinates and determines their development needs.
- Ensure department employees are fully trained through constant trainings.
- Ensure attendance on behavioral and vocational trainings in own & related areas to enhance skills & encourage multifunctionality.
- Personally conduct key trainings of your respective trades.
- Ensure department employees are fully trained on all the systems & procedures to ensure safety requirements.
Counsel subordinates in personal & work related matters.
Attend behavioral and vocational training in own & related work areas to enhance skills and develop multifunctionality.
