Job Description

project planning and scheduling
resource and time management
progress and reporting
risk management and identification
stakeholder management subcontractor coordination and extensive communication & collaboration up and downstream
able to present and protect the program
work within the leadership team to hit targets and achieve success as a collective
budget and cost control working in tandem with commercial department on site
change management and recovery programs to push within the construction teams on site
look at outputs and see where efficiency and changes can be made

Can you handle a client baseline changes and communicate with all parties both internal and external. Can you have a honest conversation with the Construction Management team and subcontractors to report actual versus projected. This wont always make you popular but if you have the right communication skills then the message will be embraced as you build a close working relationship.

Daily / Weekly Duties

subcontractors assessment to program
delay analysis
providing support to distress programs that need guidance
manage a project and manage monitor and provide all key ratios and activities to management

Requirements:

Overview requested

Clear & precise communication skills English & Arabic desired)
Degree civil engineering
PMP / prince 2
at least 10 years experience on the main contracting side in the MIDDLE EAST on relevant civil engineering & infrastructure projects involving vast concrete earthworks and geotechnical work
Solid software experience on Primavera 6 & ms project
Strong analytical and problem solving initiatives skills able to dig into the detail and spot errors
Confident at client facing and getting the message up and downstream building collaboration with the project team client and supply chain
