Were now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our global payroll team in Tel Aviv this role youll help ensure the smooth and accurate delivery of payroll processes working closely with HR finance and external partners to provide a seamless experience for our employees. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3 years of payroll experience whos eager to grow within a global and fast-paced tech environment.
What youll be doing
Day-to-day in this role youll:
- Own the end-to-end payroll process for Israel including data collection validation and full preparation of payroll for submission to our outsourced payroll vendor
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs and compliance with local regulations.
- Verify payroll reports reconcile variances and help resolve employee inquiries related to salary benefits or deductions.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax and labor laws (including VAT income tax and social security).
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements.
- Partner with our global payroll and HRIS teams to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems (e.g. Workday).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support ongoing payroll transformation initiatives.
- Participate in payroll-related projects and provide support for new system implementations or enhancements.
Our humble expectations
- 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll preferably within a tech retail or multinational company.
- Knowledge of Israeli payroll practices tax regulations and labor laws.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll vendorsadvantage.
- Familiarity with HR or financial systems (e.g. Workday ADP or Har-Gal).
- Valid Israeli Payroll Accountant Certification required
- Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a keen eye for numerical accuracy.
- Organized detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
- Team player comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
