The opportunity:

In your role as an Assistant Manager/Manager for Responsible AI with EY MENA Consulting you will lead initiatives that embed Responsible AI principles into client strategies. This includes aligning with global standards such as NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001 ensuring ethical AI adoption and compliance across sectors.

In your role as an Assistant Manager/Manager for Responsible AI with EY MENA Consulting you will be among the senior executives of EY Digital Risk competency operating as one team across different MENA offices to serve our MENA clients. You will contribute to our account-centric growth strategy focusing on issue-based and competency-driven client needs. Thats what differentiates EY in the consulting marketplace

Your key responsibilities:

Advise clients on AI governance ethical risk management and compliance with emerging regulations across MENA. Drive implementation of Responsible AI frameworks conduct risk assessments and support clients in building transparent fair and accountable AI systems.

You will also help our clients evaluate and enhance their business with a focus on managing the risk arising from ongoing technology developments and the resultant fast-paced changes in their business and operational processes . To make that happen you will need a strong team and internal network to leverage our intellectual property and lessons learned .Everything you will be involved in comes down to providing excellent customer service and guiding EY teams to do the same. Whether it is working with multiple client teams advising the clients on Responsible AI-related matters or actively working with EY account teams and partners in business development activities across various sectors you will build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your clients

Skills and attributes for success:

• Strong leadership skills including resilience emotional intelligence and ability to orchestrate human-AI collaboration. Expertise in emerging technologies and ability to translate complex AI risks into actionable strategies for clients.
• Providing guidance and knowledge participating in performing procedures focusing on complex judgmental and/or specialized issues related to technology-related risks faced by our clients
• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of emerging technologies complex information systems and the clients business/industry
• Maintaining and enhancing relationships with client management managing expectations around effectively delivering the engagements with successful closure and timely collections
• Demonstrating excellent project management skills inspiring teamwork and responsibility with team members. Using current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of work products and services
• Focusing on the importance of coaching and developing teams and colleagues by taking their ideas and giving them the knowledge skills and opportunities they need to deliver
• Bringing energy and ambition to identify and manage business development opportunities

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Proven experience in Responsible AI familiarity with global benchmarks such as RAISE AWS Responsible AI Lens and ISO/IEC 42001. Strong consulting background with ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver strategic AI initiatives.
• Proven track record of success in the MENA/GCC region with key clients and industry sectors
• A masters degree in computer science information systems or a related discipline. Alternatively a degree in business accounting or finance with additional IT qualifications
• Masters degree will be preferable
• 8-10 years of relevant experience of working as an IT risk consultant for a professional services firm or a public accounting firm or as a senior executive of a technology company a financial services company telecom company or comparable experience as an IT/IS expert
• Relevant experience areas include a combination of Responsible AI Digital Risk Management Business Continuity Management IT Disaster Recovery Management Crisis Management Third Party Risk Management Technology Compliance Management Technology Asset Management Mobile Technology Emerging Technologies (Robotics IoT Cloud and Blockchain) ERP Controls (SAP Oracle MS Dynamics) Technical Controls Management for IT Systems and Networking technologies Data Analytics IT/Business Process & Controls Management IT/IS Internal Audit and/or Third-Party Reporting
• Strong skills in project management team management and client service
• Strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills
• A willingness to travel to meet client needs

Ideally you will also have:

• Certifications in AI governance such as ISO 42001 NIST AI RMF compliance expertise and advanced credentials in technology risk management.
• CISA CBCP CISSP IRM CISM and/or CIA certification is essential for long-term growth in the role; Based on an individuals professional background area of specialization or industry focus we recognize that other certifications credentials or experience may be more relevant than the listed certifications and therefore may be acceptable
