About the Role
The Technical Material Planning Coordinator is responsible for the planning coordination and optimization of material requirements to support all scheduled non-scheduled and routine maintenance activities. This includes initial provisioning material planning for modifications reconfigurations and ad-hoc maintenance requirements. The role also involves business process review development and management of KPIs and ensuring system data integrity to support accurate stock modeling and inventory optimization.
A key element of this position is driving continuous improvement in processes and systems enhancing performance standards and ensuring operational efficiency across the material planning function.
Key Responsibilities
Process & System Improvement

Continuously evaluate existing processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.

Analyze business processes and performance metrics to align with industry best practices.

Design and implement automated simulations to assess changes in inventory calculation methods and procedures.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
-
Develop track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
-
Provide inventory-related metrics and insights to support management decision-making.
-
Set and maintain service standards and performance targets.
Material Planning & Inventory Optimization
-
Support material requirement planning for scheduled non-scheduled and maintenance activities.
-
Manage initial provisioning and material planning for modifications and reconfiguration projects.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of system data used in stock models and inventory optimization processes.
-
Perform cost analysis scenario modelling benchmarking and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with purchasing repair and contract management teams to optimize material planning solutions.

Actively participate in RFI RFT and RFP processes to support procurement strategies.
-
Collaborate with maintenance engineering and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
About You (Qualifications & Experience)

High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or equivalent (minimum qualification).
-
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in material planning supply chain or technical support.

Familiarity with technical publications and provisioning data.
-
Ability to multitask work under pressure and operate independently with minimal supervision.
-
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with effective communication abilities.
-
Hands-on experience with MRO/ERP systems preferably TRAX.
-
Good command of the English language.
