Project Manager Material Handling Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Material Handling Systems to join our team in Doha this role you will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of complex material handling system projects for our clients in the region.

• Lead and manage all aspects of material handling system projects from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers designers and contractors
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to material handling systems in Qatar
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
• Oversee the procurement and installation of material handling equipment
• Manage project documentation including contracts change orders and technical specifications
• Analyze project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field
• Minimum 12 years of experience in project management with a focus on material handling systems
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in the material handling industry
• Strong knowledge of material handling systems logistics and supply chain operations
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Project
• Excellent communication leadership and team management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets timelines and resources effectively
• Knowledge of industrial engineering principles and their application to material handling systems
• Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to material handling systems in Qatar
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements
