Job Description & Summary

Key Responsibilities for BI/Data Analyst Intern

Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather clean and organize large datasets from multiple sources.
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Identify patterns trends and anomalies using statistical and analytical techniques.
Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI Tableau or Excel to communicate insights effectively.
Database Support: Assist in database design maintenance and optimization.
Algorithm Development: Support the development of models and algorithms for data analysis.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure adherence to data governance and regulatory standards.

Technical Knowledge

Tools: Power BI SQL Python Excel (advanced functions) Tableau.
Concepts: Data modeling ETL workflows statistical analysis and visualization best practices.
Optional: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) automation (VBA Python scripts) and CI/CD for data pipelines.

Educational Requirements

Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Business Analytics or related fields.
Coursework or certifications in data analysis tools (SQL Python Power BI) is highly desirable.
