Role Overview:
Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in coordinating projects for business-as-usual operations and major sporting events. Responsible for project tracking reporting documentation and ensuring smooth execution of PMO processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Support:
Assist in developing and maintaining Technology Delivery process workflows diagrams templates and repositories.
Validate stakeholder outputs to ensure compliance with PMO and Technology Delivery standards.
Attend meetings record clear and concise minutes and track follow-ups.
Monitor and track open actions risks and dependencies until closure.
Prepare management reports dashboards and periodic status updates.
Maintain project-related documentation and repository systems.
Support the PMO function in maintaining accurate and updated project data.
Executive Administration Support:
Provide administrative support including meeting scheduling agenda preparation and minute taking.
Prepare and distribute project communications reports and updates.
Record track and follow up on actions risks and dependencies with responsible owners.
Maintain proper version control for all project documents.
Develop and distribute tournament-time reports summarizing event readiness across functional areas.
File official communications memos and reports as required.
Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
4 years of relevant experience in the IT industry including 2 years in a PMO project coordination or similar role.
Bilingual (Arabic & English) – mandatory.
Consulting background preferred with exposure to multiple client environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Business Administration Engineering or equivalent.
Diploma holders with 4 years of similar experience will also be considered.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Proven experience in data analysis and report preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook) and project management tools (e.g. MS Project JIRA Smartsheet).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail organization and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
