The Commis Chef Western Cuisine will support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing high-quality Western dishes for a luxury private estate. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation station upkeep and maintaining the highest hygiene and presentation standards as expected in a luxury setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking Western-style dishes as per menu and client preferences.
Follow recipe standards presentation guidelines and portion control.
Ensure all mise en place is ready before service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.
Work under the direction of senior chefs to support smooth kitchen operations.
Properly store food and ingredients ensuring freshness and FIFO principles.
Adhere to food safety hygiene and HACCP protocols.
Cooperate with the rest of the kitchen team for seamless service.
Requirements
Good knowledge of Western cuisine including sauces meats and plating techniques.
Knife handling and basic butchery skills.
High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Basic English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Riyadh.
Able to maintain confidentiality and work in a private luxury household.
Flexible and professional demeanor.
