Main Responsibilities IT Support Systems Maintenance and Security
- Deliver responsive IT support to all users troubleshooting hardware software and network issues across multiple locations.
- Install configure and update operating systems applications and system hardware efficiently and securely.
- Monitor and maintain system performance and network availability ensuring optimal productivity and minimal disruption.
- Implement and enforce cyber security standards including data backup strategies virus protection and access controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues and integrate new technologies.
- Manage IT assets inventory and documentation according to company protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in IT infrastructure cloud services and security compliance.
Key Skills and Experience Required for IT Role
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or IT administration position.
- Sound knowledge of Windows macOS and/or Linux environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network devices (switches routers firewalls) and common software platforms.
- Understanding of IT security protocols data privacy regulations and backup procedures.
- Ability to prioritise tasks work autonomously and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A Network Microsoft or equivalent are a plus.
