Job Title: Lead Civil Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a technically strong and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to supervise and coordinate civil construction activities in industrial projects including equipment foundations and precast structure works. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Saudi or Gulf regions especially in electrical substation projects. Strong leadership and site coordination skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage civil engineering works at project sites including foundations precast structures and infrastructure utilities.
Review and interpret project drawings specifications and technical standards for accurate execution.
Ensure that construction work complies with local and international codes safety standards and client requirements.
Coordinate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines for seamless integration of civil works.
Supervise subcontractors site engineers and technicians during construction phases.
Conduct quality checks and inspections ensuring timely completion of milestones.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and documentation of project status.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide immediate solutions to maintain project timelines.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in industrial civil construction works.
Proven expertise in equipment foundations precast civil structures and general site development.
Saudi Arabia or Gulf experience is mandatory.
Electrical substation project experience will be a strong preference.
Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods and standards.
Ability to lead and guide teams on-site.
Proficiency in project planning scheduling and resource allocation.
Familiarity with civil design and drafting tools (AutoCAD Civil 3D etc.).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
