We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Manager (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha this role you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of our roads operations and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage complex infrastructure projects efficiently.
- Lead and coordinate MEP activities for roads operations and maintenance projects
- Develop and implement MEP strategies to optimize performance and reduce maintenance costs
- Oversee the design installation and maintenance of MEP systems for road infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with other project components
- Manage budgets schedules and resources for MEP-related activities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations safety standards and quality control measures
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of MEP operations
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in MEP systems
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians within the MEP team
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP engineering with a focus on roads operations and maintenance projects
- Proven track record in team leadership and project management
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their application in transportation infrastructure
- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite for reporting and data analysis
- Familiarity with Qatar construction and engineering standards
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required within Qatar
