Senior Mechanical Engineer (Turbine Island)

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required (Masters degree beneficial) in mechanical engineering specializing in Power Generation and Energy.
• Strong technical skills; 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering on large scale projects or in nuclear power plant development. Nuclear power industry related experience is required.
• Knowledge of water properties (working with the I-S and derivative T-S diagram) thermodynamic thermohydraulic and hydrodynamic.
• Knowledge of vessels operating under pressure and vacuum rotating equipment (pumps fans and compressors) valves heat exchanger installations and associated equipment fittings and pipelines.
• Familiar with design manufacturing testing and operational codes and standards for systems under pressure ventilation lifting equipment and fire suppression.
• Familiar with principles and means of measurement and control of thermohydraulic processes.

• 2D and 3D CAD CAM Flow Analysis Piping Stress Analysis Finite Element programs software experience is beneficial.

• Ability to analyze communicate influence and persuade.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; understanding of Russian and/or Arabic is a plus.
• Proactive team player proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment.
• Organized and disciplined.
