General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and management of completed construction projects that are now in their operational phase.
- Support project managers in developing project plans schedules and budgets
- Conduct site visits to monitor service delivery performance of MEP Civil/Structural Cleaning/Landscaping contractors in accordance with their contracts and to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Analyse and interpret site reports from contractors as to their performance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports correspondence and invoices
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress challenges and solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university in Mechanical Electrical Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field
- Experience required will be either between 2 years and up to 5 years
- Familiarity with construction processes methods and materials
- Familiarity with building services systems
- Familiarity with understanding contracts and their performance clauses
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Engineering software tools such as CAD (computer-aided design) and Project Management tools such as Primavera
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
