on behalf of our client we are looking for a Factory Manager to join their team in Riyadh.
Job Summary
Oversee operations ensure quality production and lead process improvements. Manage staff schedules and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Checks & approves shift manpower requirements by reviewing the weekly manpower schedule prepared by production supervisor
- Develops appropriate standard operating procedures for all products which are not limited to frozen cake chocolate and other bakeries operation by analyzing & reviewing performance searching for best practices to meet new business requirements & changes in demand & work environment.
- Ensures that the requirements of the master production plan are delivered on time within cost parameters & to the quality standards required
- Initiates change implements change & improves the manufacturing process. This includes waste reduction & material cost savings through changes in specifications
- Assists in preparing the operational budget and CAPEX for the factory by providing operational requirements to feed into the business plan.
- Controls & monitors the operational resources including materials budget manpower & consumables by reviewing performance against targets & budget.
- Ensures manpower & machinery performance is to standards required & updates production manager or factory manager with on any extra requirements needed by analyzing machine efficiencies & operational requirements.
- Ensures business plan targets are met within the agreed budget quality safety & hygiene standards by managing the day-to-day operational activities to meet customer requirements & profit targets
- Manages train develops & appraises his operational teams.
- Verifies the weekly production plan with the planning department by attending the planning meetings & reviewing the production plan on a daily bases to ensure production targets are met
- Ensures that machine breakdowns are reported to relevant maintenance departments by analyzing the production report & approving maintenance orders

Requirements
At least 8-12 years of experience in the field of food manufacturing or related industries.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position (Production Manager / Factory Manager).
Proven experience in managing production lines process improvement and waste reduction.
Experience in handling new projects and product development.
Experience in managing operational budgets and CAPEX.
Previous knowledge of bakery chocolate factory and packaging equipment is considered a strong advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Food Science or equivalent.
Preferred certifications such as Lean Six Sigma PMP or HACCP.
Strong familiarity with food manufacturing practices and quality and food safety standards (ISO 22000 HACCP GMP).
High leadership and organizational skills to manage multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in computer skills and production-related software and planning (ERP/SAP).
Deep knowledge of preventive and operational maintenance systems for machinery.
Ability to analyze data and prepare clear performance reports.
